As someone I love used to say “Funerals are for the bereaved not the departed”. Planning a funeral service that is both respectful and comforting is a serious undertaking. The service needs to honour and celebrate the life that has passed and bring solace and support to those who are left behind.
Now that we no longer have set religious forms such as once was standard, we need someone who understands to help us say good-bye and find a way forward. My training, experience and love of liturgy have equipped me to help create a meaningful funeral service that meets the very personal needs of each unique family.
